# Look up a person

> Everything about one X account: profile, recent posts, and the history with the user (replies, DMs, notes, lead status). Uses live X data when it isn't stored.

`people.get` · read

- **MCP tool:** `get_person`. Loaded by default in MCP clients.
- **REST:** `GET /v1/people/get`
- **CLI:** `xholic people get`
- **Scope:** `read`
- **Plan:** Every plan, including the trial
- **Cost:** Live X lookup: no credits, counts toward the plan's X data limits.
- **Rate limit bucket:** `live_x`
